OPPO has launched its Find X10 smartphone series, with a three-camera, 200-megapixel system at the top of the range. The Find X10 Pro Max leads the two-model lineup, while the standard Find X10 has two 200-megapixel cameras and a lower-resolution ultra-wide.

The phones will be sold globally through official OPPO stores, according to video technology publication RedShark. Some markets already have them on sale, although precise sale dates and country-by-country availability remain unclear.

Three high-resolution cameras, not just one

OPPO said the Pro Max is the first phone to offer three 200-megapixel rear cameras. Developed with camera maker Hasselblad, the system gives that resolution to the main, ultra-wide and telephoto cameras rather than reserving it for the main lens.

The ultra-wide camera captures a broader view through a 124-degree lens and includes autofocus. It uses a 1/1.56-inch sensor, while the main camera has a larger, 1/1.28-inch Samsung ISOCELL HPC sensor, according to RedShark.

The standard Find X10 takes a different approach. Its main and telephoto cameras each have 200-megapixel sensors, while its ultra-wide camera has 50 megapixels, according to UAE news outlet Daily Guardian.

OPPO said both phones use its LUMO True Image Engine for image processing. The shared software sits alongside different camera hardware, making the ultra-wide camera one of the distinctions between the two models.

Video tools allow more room for editing

All three rear cameras on the Pro Max support 4K recording at up to 120 frames per second. They can also record 8K video at 30 frames per second.

Both models offer Open Gate Capture, which OPPO said records across the full sensor area. Editors can then crop the same footage into different shapes, including horizontal and vertical formats, rather than choosing the final framing during recording.

A large battery and a £1,499 starting price

Both the Find X10 and Pro Max have 7,150mAh silicon-carbon batteries. That shared capacity accompanies their different camera configurations.

The Pro Max starts at £1,499 in the UK, according to Indian newspaper Deccan Chronicle. Prices for every model and market, along with a complete international sales schedule, have not been confirmed.
